In this lesson, there is a group of four girls whose teacher gives them a project during summer vacation. In this project, they have to gather information on Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal. They communicate with each other via email while working on the project. Huma and Tahira shared some information on some aspects of Jinnah's life, while Luba and Farheen shared information about Allama Iqbal through emails with each other.
The Quaid-e-Azam was a great personality of South Asia. His message of 'Faith, Unity, and Discipline', his determination, and steadfastness made the impossible task of creating Pakistan possible. He was popular among non-Muslims as well. Due to his tolerance and acceptance of all faiths, some Hindu leaders and poets called him 'the ambassador of Hindu Muslim Unity. His political insight showed that Congress was working only for the Hindus. He joined the Muslim League and soon became its president. Despite the strong opposition of the ruling British and the majority Hindus, he succeeded to get a separate homeland for the Muslims of India where non-Muslims besides Muslims can live with dignity.
Allama Iqbal was a teacher, poet, and philosopher. He began his career as a professor and continued his studies. He received his Law and then Ph.D. degrees also. In Germany, he was also known as Dr. Muhammad Iqbal for his work on Persian philosophy. He took an active part in politics and worked for the cause of the Muslims of South Asia. He was elected as a member of the Punjab Legislative Council. He became the president of the Punjab branch of the Muslim League. ln Allahabad, he planted the seed for Muslims by demanding a separate homeland. He died 9 years before the creation of Pakistan but he played an important role in its creation of Pakistan.
