Application
An application is written to apply a request. It is written for different purposes in a formal way of writing. e.g. Leave application, Fee application, Permission application etc.STANDARD PARTS FOR APPLICATIONS:
- Date: This part includes current date.
- Inside Address: This part includes the receiver's address. OR The address of the person to whom the letter is written.
- Subject: This part includes the topic on which we write.
- Salutation / Greetings: This part includes the formal opening of the message. OR Dear / Respected followed by the person's position or name.
- Body: This part includes the desire message. OR The body of an application starting the purpose clearly, along with the request, suggestion etc.
- Complementary Close / Closing: This part includes the ending words of the message. Any of the words like sincerely, yours truly, thank you, etc. can be used, written with a capital letter and followed by a comma.
- Signature: This part includes the status of the writer with signature. OR Signature followed by the name of the writer and his position.
